Samael corpse

Created a new avatar on the path of courage.

In Highvale I spoke to Samael and accompanied him to Gawain. I then left him and went exploring.

Eventually I came to a burning barricade and saw the name 'Samael corpse' behind it. Sure enough, once I found a way round, I saw Gawain on the other side and Samael's corpse at the edge of the flames.

I could imagine him being so disheartened at the hopelessness of trying to heal the dying knights that he burned himself to death, but this could be confusing if he appears in the game later... (I think it's more likely he wandered randomly into the fire and has no self-preservation AI to stop him burning up)

 

Update: after his corpse disappeared, he respawned in his original position, seemingly oblivious to his plight
