Samuel won't speak to me to finish in Crypt of the Avatar

1. Title: Samuel won't speak to me to finish in Crypt of the Avatar
2. Reproduction Rate: 100%
3. Blocker? Yes
4. Details:
   My journal says to 'talk to samuel' before I leave crypt (see screenshot) but he just tells me to talk to the spirits
5. Steps to Reproduce:
   Go through love quest up to the point where you are in the crypt, talk to the spirits, then try to talk to samuel. NOTE: I had to close down and login, then 'resummon' Samuel, so wonder if this caused the issue?

Notice it says " I should speak to Samuel again before leaving this place".

But when I try to talk to Samuel I get this:

Try keyword Malice with Miles, then Eris then talk to Samael last to get the entry.
