It is seems we can complete the reservations now. Beware that the prices have changed by up to the the price of a share. I think they may be adjusting to the maximum number of whole shares not exceeding the reserve amount. So if you reserved $1,000, the charge will be for $999 and change. I hope the perk target amounts will be adjusted for the seedvest adjustment.

 

Indeed, the Perks still seem to come with the same amount they were before at $500.00 I'm not sure because of the way it's written, whether or not the lower minimum would get a perk at all. It's getting to be 7:00 PM there in New York, maybe the adjustment made in the minimum didn't make it to the rest of the site's information, or maybe there's some shift in that minimum the longer the timer keeps ticking.

If those perk investment levels change, I think they'd have a problem.

Here is my concern... and perhaps I am reading this wrong but..
On SeedInvest the Portalarium Quarterly Cash Flow projections are posted. Using the Base Case it appears that for the period ending June 30 2017 the company has only $80k in cash? In the quarter July 1 - Sept 30 it appears the monthly operation burn rate is about $230k/month ($700k for the quarter excluding marketing), with limited expectations of revenue before the game launches (which seems to be in late Q3). Where will the money come from to keep operations going before the expected revenue from game launch?

I did invest on SeedInvest, but these cash flow numbers worry me...

After some hickups that the site fixed, Im finally in.

 

I messaged Lord British and he confirmed that you would get the perk. For example I made the $1,000 investment and got $999.58 in Port shares. According to LB I will still get the 1K perk. Golden row coming to Serenite docks!

Hi Time Lord, is an investment now possible for non US citizens with a foreign account only? (I have an US account for stock benefits, but am not sure whether this is admissible, can only trigger wired transfers)

I used one of my accounts in the USA. I'm not certain that any Bangkok Bank would have converted the cash well because of the weak and still weakening USD against other currencies. Some banks in foreign countries are also in part owned by the state or country they reside in, but I don't know if that would effect whatever. the USD has fallen almost a full 10% against the Thai Baht here.

They should add a village and town lot perk.

$2,500 for gold village house and tax free deed

$5,000 for gold town house and tax free deed

 

i know there is a missed opportunity there and most people are just doing 1k on the mark so far. Of course those are just "extra thank you perks", but some people are just doing it just for the perks and treating the shares as extra. BTW, the way perks are worded the 10k perk will also get the tax free lot from the 1k perk, not like it was in Kickstarter.

By comparison from now back to way back then, those rewards we got for our first pledges were light then as well
I think from those early pledges I've gotten x2 continually added extra to my ingame bank account in pledge continuingly added reward "stuff" from those early pledges I first bought into our SOTA with

I'm a bit optimistic by the past history of performance on Portalarium's part of thanking all the players that first funded our game They didn't really have to keep later adding more stuff to it after we funded them... "but they did!"

I'm pretty satisfied with that $5000.00 Duke Keep I bought...
When they introduced that thing, I was on the fence with a $800.00 Knight Pledge

I threw 5 G's at em like I was Nolan Ryan...

 

What I don't understand is why we're worried about spending $500 or even $1000 on an investment?

I believe the Citizen pledge was $500. Knight Pledge was around $800. Baron pledge levels all sold out. If we had say 1,000 New Britannians pony up $1000 then we're half way to their $2 million goal! Or say 4,000 pitch in $500. Then we're there!

Plus there are some perks here (not counting the Golden items). I know it's not stock we're dealing with. However to own a piece of Portalarium would be awesome. Especially if we can make it successful.

We knew this was going to succeed or fail depending on community support. Right?

It's up to us to decide where this goes.
