Figured the answer would be "Probably, but only on the SeedInvest page." Which would totally be fine. Just wanted to make sure others had a chance to see it.

 

I found the webinar reassuring from the perspective of a gamer wanting to play Sota, my perspective. It was not quite as strong from a pure outside, non-gamer, investor perspective. I guess the target audience is the gaming community and perhaps other game companies.

 

I enjoyed what I heard there which reassured me that SOTA isn't a fly by night game in the market, yet is the "flagship game" which I share their hopes to continue past 5 Episodes and into the future beyond. From that view of things, it was more reassuring than it was any attempting to promote the brand beyond what it's truest description is of game plan. What I took from it is that they will deliver what they say and the game will expand in many positive ways well into the future.

It was not buffing the wax on any used car to make it seem more or less than it is.

The idea that Portalarium might create more role-playing games in the same style led me to imagine them creating entirely different worlds using the SotA engine, where you could then use a lunar rift to transfer your character from world to world.

I'm probably jumping ahead a bit here and even if I am, it's a very very minor point, but... I've invested (why wouldn't you?) and as part of the investment you get a new game account - presumably the few in game goodies you get for investing will be linked to that new game account? - will there be a way to link them to your existing account instead?

 

@Elay we may not be able to talk about that here. But you could ask it on seedinvest.

 

I'm assuming this will work just like bundles with game access. Each of them have a note at the top:

Basically, if you use the same email address it should go on to your existing account, which will then add the items to your existing account but will not provide you an additional game access. If you use a different address, it will create a new account with these rewards. It is not currently known if the items will be transferable at this point.

I just noticed this thread, I'm bad about looking for new threads.

I will be in for approx 1000 USD as of tomorrow. That will put at least me, @Duke Ezekiel Cooper, and @Sentinel2 as BMCers on the list. I'm sure there's more, hopefully that list will get lengthy, and we make the minimum. I'm not putting it up just to get it back.

 

(I put this as a separate post, in case it's ruled to be tombstone information, to make it easier for @Berek, to remove. I don't think it would be though)

To those who think the rewards are a little light: remember, the backer rewards were all you got with the pledges. With this you're getting stock; you're one of the owners of the company. That's the main thing here, the in game rewards are just to show-off that you're an investor.

 

What was ment by "60000 active testers" during the phone discussion?

We have a 500 playerbase with not even half of the 60k signing in once.

Are you telling me we have 60k unique accounts reporting bugs?
