    Using the /facepalm emote delivers a message like

    "Selene facepalms her head." o_O

    This made me actually facepalm my head. The message used to be "is clearly embarassed" or "is clearly embarassed by {target}" which makes much more sense... grammatically and actually.

    Maybe it should be changed to "is embarrassed for {target}".

    "facepalm your head" is working as intended??? Facepalm is either a noun or an intransitive verb. It doesn't need an object to function. You can't facepalm a desk or facepalm a cracker.. It is the palm applied to the face.

    Please reconsider this wording. It makes you sound like my Nana trying to sound "hip and cool".

    Definitely needs feedback. One does not facepalm their head.

    One can facepalm in disbelief.

    Thus the emote could be:
    No target:
    %U facepalms
    %U facepalms in embarrassment
    %U facepalms in disbelief

    Target:
    %U facepalms in shame for %T
    %U facepalms embarrassed by %T
    %U facepalms in disbelief of what %T did/said
    %U facepalms because %T is doing it wrong.

    The way it stands right now will never pass the grammar police.

    There are those that redundantly state that they went to the Rio Grande River. (River Big River). That's the point being made. Facepalm implies the head....unless someone has a face other than on their head.

    If I state that I thumped my chest people don't wonder if I hit my torso. ;)

    I can see him having asked for a facepalm emote being in game - I'd be surprised if he wanted it to be accompanied by such a weak text description of what was going on though....

    The good thing is, when localizing, you can write something that sounds good and makes sense. You don't have to translate stupid stuff. They'll never know the difference! :rolleyes:

    I like the face palm the way it is... :D
    I've tried this as a female as well as a male, tall as well as short and it all seems fine though the male hand is larger than the female hand.
    If there's anything to be improved upon in this regard, then I believe it will be in the Avatar's hand shape itself.
