    I think it was during the first Lords of the Manor dinner prep video(Oct 5, 2013), live streamed by Rustic Dragon, where Rustic asked Richard to do a facepalm.
    Richard obligingly lifted the heel of his hand to his forehead, getting the facepalm spectacularly and endearingly wrong.
    If I can find the point in the 4 hours of video, I'll post a screenshot.
    Richard facepalmed his head, and I think this is a reference to that.

    Trust me, TNG is like my favorite show ever (and I am not a trekkie or a star trek nerd), and I can assure you that moment never happened. Also pretty sure Worf doesnt wear the red uniform until DS9.
