Should Soothing Rain give a 10% fire resist at GM?

    10% would be less than the Shield of Ice and Douse bonuses at GM.

    Seems like it would fit the water tree theme and the visual effects of the glyph.

    I think standing in soothing rain should have a continuous douse effect.

    That would eliminate the need for douse. I was trying to go with something less OP.

    Didn't mention there being anything wrong with Douse in the OP. Just talking about how a rain cloud that's actively raining on your head doesn't give you fire resistance.

    Eh, Magic is not inherently logical or else it wouldn't be magic! I'd rather keep Soothing Rain as is. A fire resist effect might necessitate a healing nerf for balance.
