Does this recipe drop from Nyrond? If not, which bosses?

Oh, man. It's been a while. I think I might have gotten it off the lich boss that sometimes spawns in Deep Ravenswood?

It probably drops from Nyrond, but it's such a pain to get him to respawn I didn't bother. Probably Elrin Nayer, too. I recall bugging @Elgarion as to what exactly counts as a "lich boss" but I don't think I ever got an answer.

Oh, I remember! I got it off one of the two liches in the Ravensmoor dungeon.

Yeah, he is a bit weenie.

If I could find the recipe on someone's vendor then I would just buy it.

I'd say you could probably handle the ones in Ravensmoor, but I'd bet they both cast Torpid now.

Lich of the Mound isn't too tough, but he's so random to get.

The problem with the Lich of the Mound is that you can go hours and hours without it showing up.

Roedberk in Ravensmoor might be your best bet, if you know where his secret door is. He's basically an Elrin Nayer clone, but you can get him alone. If you use cover and either get lucky on the Torpids or recover quickly he might be doable.

Or the Elrin in Despair. He can be isolated from other mobs. No cover, but if you run around enough, he'll spend half the fight just trying to follow you around. Just be ready for the Torpid.

Unfortunately, in the room with the other lich (I forget his name, he was orange to me) and all the elite skeletons. That fight always took so long, though, I just started skipping it by running into the room and going straight for the hidden door. Even if one or two skeletons get through with you, they usually leash and run away.

Though, you need to find all four of Roedberk's organs each time to summon him, as part of a repeatable quest. Talk to the guy just inside the dungeon to get the quest. Kinda sucks, but was still preferable to fighting an orange lich and eight elite skeletons every time. Also, Roedberk doesn't respawn, so you have to leave and reset the scene, then search out his organs. (The orange lich respawns, but his timer is twenty minutes.) It was all a huge pain, but those liches were the only boss liches I could handle solo. Took a few evenings to get the recipe, if I recall correctly. If I'd known how to find Elrin in Despair st the time, I'd probably have done that instead. He kills me about a third of the time, but his respawn timer is only five minutes.

I just killed Ras'al'horag and found the secret door. :)

[edit] Looks like I need Roedberk's guts.

Well, at least I got a recipe that I didn't have.

That was way too much work to get to him.

Did you do the other lich too, or skip him?

Roedberk can drop the Anapa's Favors too, which is convenient if you don't have enough to make the shrine yet.

Ras'al'horag? Yeah, I killed him. Much harder than Roedberk (due to all the stupid skeletons).

It was difficult and time consuming to collect the jars of Roedberk's guts. Not really worth going back. I suppose if I could remember where all the jars were then I could just run through and collect them on the way.

They're random, so it's kind of annoying. Usually you end up with 2-3 of each, except for one that seems to appear a bit less often. I would just check the easy locations, exit, and repeat until I had all four. Then apply a six stack of Dash and blow through the whole dungeon down to Roedberk.

The whole thing is kind of a pain, but it was the only place I could reliably kill named liches for the recipe.

There's also the one in the bottom of Owl's Head sewer, but he was super tough. Basically Elrin with a bunch of elite skeletons.

FYI I recently got the shrine recipe from the Lich of the Mound. I think its spawn is tied to the moon cycle.

BTW all dungeon room recipes are discoverable.

The room with the secret door (Ravensmoor Crypt room) is also a blueprint drop.

I have it in a few of my dungeons. This one is in my Ironhall Shaft dungeon:

Check my Shrine vendor or my Recipes vendor in Novia Market, both should have it for 4k.

They should put some of the boss lich loot in the last treasure chest of compendium. You get the same loot for killing mega lich party as you do for 5 minutes of bears at the beginning of the dungeon.

Thanks @Coswald_Dirthmire. That was the only shrine recipe that I didn't have.
