Single Player Offline?

    It's just the same game offline as online?, I see no difference! Has it been tailored in any way for SP ?, I may as well just play online so I can at least get help with all the mobs ganking me, Mobs need to stay dead else theirs no sense of progression, My only tactic is to run through all the mobs so I can complete quests, I expect this kind of play in an MMO but not SP, This is not a SP game and should not be touted as such, False advertisement.

    AFAIK, there are plans before release (i.e. in the top ten priorities) to balance single player combat and re-spawn rules. I think they said they're also looking at vendor prices for selling things.

    I thought they turned off mob respawning for single player offline

    It's also the companions which must be over-worked ...

    Same mobs are re-spawning before I resurrect, making progression in some area's hard.

    Looks like its not behaving like its supposed to. Perhaps file it as a bug

    Offline Spawning Rules is not implemented yet.

    Offline Spawning Rules is a Post-Launch feature and will be complete by the end of 2018. ( Source: Q1 2018 Schedule Update )

    Oh ffs. Silly me thinking the game would actually be ready to play at launch, i somehow missed that bit. And companions arent even listed on there :(

    Since that was misquoted as end of 2018, just letting you know that's supposed to be first quarter of 2018. If you would like to see a good SP game, rather than give up on it I would suggest filing bug reports for it, most of us are focusing on Multiplayer, so it's probably not getting the eyeballs it deserves.

    In case you don't know how, in the chat window type /bug. It will launch a tab for the QA subforum in your browser, with the form already loaded into your clipboard. Start a new thread and Paste, and then just fill out the relevant information.

    I did not find any bugs in the Blood River truth quest line, apart from getting in to the Renegades camp before I picked up that quest line, The design of Blood River was memorable and well thought out strategically with the fallen tree over the Ravine, just a No for the mobs 4 at a time at starter level, and it got even worse in the East wetlands area when on the Aerie Key quest. I feel when you die it's a positive thing as you can roam about
    UN-hindered and get to new places easily, It's really like some kind of cheat or hack, I think it would benefit an instant respawn, This death mechanic seems to offer no point at all, Just a simple re-spawn here with a filled Soul gem (aka ESO) or spawn at nearest Ankh. It's a very slow system at breaks the flow of the game to much in my opinion.
