    @Fiero Steele
    Please note that every time the devs has seen something like this it has been removed shortly.

    are potted plants better than the large 20x planter beds?

    Better: no (no bonus or malus)

    Warning to anyone else doing this, be careful when doing it. Took ages and that was made even longer when i nearly finished and accidentally picked up the greenhouse and had to start again. You can not place a greenhouse if something would be inside is already on the lot.

    I actually did find better space efficient layouts, but i thought the terracing looked better. It was also why i used 2 rows of clay pots, i think the barrels are slightly narrower than the clay ones.

    i actually did something similar on half my crafted greenhouse row and found I could grow more plants with pots/half barrels than normal plant beds. never reported it though due to time it took and watering. thought it was intentional.

    Whoever designed the greenhouses obviously did not communicate with whoever designed the planting beds. Makes me scratch my head how poorly they go together.

    IMO The greenhouses should be updated to have built in planting beds that use the space efficiently.

    Has anyone tried the new greenhouses yet? Are they any better layout wise?

    Just FYI, you can try them out on the QA server. Just to test them.

    If it does not get over 150 plants in one greenhouse, this way will be easier and get 150 in each.
