I'm still stuck at this barrier called Samael's Regrets https://imgur.com/kAJxSfz does anyone have experience doing the Path of Love? All guides and content I see it just... doesn't exist. People walked right past it, it must be new possibly bugged

Steps to Reproduce:
1 - Enter Malice
2 - Pick up all 3 gems on the skeletons
3 - Pick up all entries 1972-1978
4 - Rage furiously that the barrier is up for an hour

Talk to Samael to get him in your party - I guess they made helping him required.

 

Samael disappears, I'll have to try and summon him with the item thank you @discipleofweb

 

Solved, use the Summon Samael whistle, I had two whistles and one wouldn't work.
