    Hi everyone...

Today I was reading the news here and I realized that there was a possibility to help with some compositions. So I finished reading and decided to record some ideas ... picked up some key words present in "Crowdsource Music Request List" and start composing ... using feeling... not a lot of logic, just recording what was coming to me according with suggested names on the request list ... So, this is the result... I think these attempts ideas can be greatly improved, some are played very quick, lacking a bit empty and more regular motion...

I really would like you to express your opinion, saying what can be improved to make a better version, what kind of song you would like to hear... so maybe I try something different or improve a ideia..

    Thanks !
ps: I dont speak english.. so I tried a translator, hope you dont mind.. hehe..
ps2: I recorded the songs on my acoustic guitar, using a microphone (mxl 440).

    bye....

    "Valor & Cowardice"

    "Lost in the Desert"

    "Unwiling to Sacrifice"

    "Combat & Ruins"

    "Garden of Sorrow"

    "Dance of Fawns"

    Pedro,

You are very, very, very, very good at guitar! Especially considering how quickly you came up with all of that music!

While it might be a little bit difficult to communicate with you if you don't speak English, I think I'd love to collaborate with you. I am fairly new at making music other than percussion, but there are a lot of other musicians here who could take your guitar recordings and add other layers and instrumentation and come up with some complete songs. Quite honestly I think that some of your songs would work perfectly just with the guitar. When you think about it, the songs that we all remember from Ultima did not rely on complex layering and flashy "movie score" style music - There were simple melodies with a few, or even only a single, instrument. (And bad sounding instruments, too!)

Anyhow, incredible work. I think you should talk with Holt Ironfell and ask where he thinks your efforts would work best.

This stuff is incredible. Simple melodies like this are very powerful at evoking a very specific mood and you have nailed each and every one.

    Please make more! :D

Edit: Here's an idea... How about trying a melody that is very "otherworldly" with lots of silent moments interspersed with light trills, like gusts of wind blowing through a tree.

EDIT2: WOW, your Ultima remixes are amazing too!

    Thanks Kailef!
I appreciate your cooperation, how can we make it? If you wish I can record one of the songs on the metronome and send you.. any preference?
I will send a message to Holt.

    Hi Selbie,
I will try to make a song as you said!
    Thanks!

If you did one of those songs to a metronome, that would be perfect. I can record some percussion and we can pass it along to Holt for some orchestration and editing, and have ourselves a real winner. (Actually you are good enough that I could probably add the sound of a cement mixer to your music and it would still be a winner. Your skill on the guitar is incredible.)

I think the "Dance of Fawns" would be the best one for me to work with first, since it wouldn't require me to mic my whole drum set to do it. Just a one or two drums would do the trick.

Very good expression and skills and emotion. A nice change of style from everyone else here so far.

Some of it is a little improvised but then again they are just first draft, I assume.

In the right hands these could be crafted into amazing pieces and made for a quartet (or similar)

Nice musicianship friend! The acoustic guitar has such a nice bright sound. I can definitely hear spanish influence in some of your music. Are you a fan of flamenco music? Keep it up!
