@Chris and @DarkStarr said no way. :'( Maybe if we ask again? They addressed it around 1:11:40. It irks me that we have a spell like this that sits around mostly unused because players really don't like when a healer casts it. Personally, I would rather have a less effective spell that I can use readily than a more powerful one that hardly ever sees the light of day. Right now, this spell is not even in my party healing deck. I use it when I play solo, but have gotten so many complaints that I never cast it in party anymore.

It doesn'T make sense since you juste need to go first persone view and the opacity is ok

Well @Athanil hates me when I cast Healing Grace on him even though it is such a useful spell. the spell effects could be more transparent imho, in fact it would be handy slider for game menu.

They could at least change the name to Tranquilising Flood.

Soothing Rain actually got me to change from using 3rd person to 1st person view... And I actually found a new interest in the world environments because of it.

Ya it's a bit too much especially in mines and tight spaces. Granted it heals better than any of my other spells and is a must for charging into a big battle...

I love the spell and don't want it messed with too much well more healing is always better, but I'm working on it ;). I think it can be toned down just a bit for visual purposes like seeing what's going on better, but I'm not an instant demand for it, not wanting to rock the boat too much if it ruins it:eek:

I like it when I'm in the open on maps, it doesn't affect my view much there, but in mines or caves it is unusable to me since I can't see where I walk to any more. Would be nice if opacity changes were considered.

They specifically mentioned that it is overpowered to make up for the opacity drawing. Making it more transparent would warrant nerfing the spell. I prefer it as is.

Then don't make it overpowered? Doing something shitty to compensate for something else that's shitty is hardly a solution.

If toning down the skill's strength and its visual effect will make it function and look like another skill, then you've designed yourself into a corner.

Perhaps overpowered was the wrong term to use. Power was balanced with the given drawback. Reducing the drawback warrants reducing the power of the spell. But I suppose such flavor is not widely appreciated.

Its a fun skill that is fun to use, not being able to see ruins it.

As far as power go, I think its ballanced well enough.

Well I don't know, it's visual medium so I kind of like to see what's going on.
