Not bad. Kinda like its simplicity.

Pretty sure title theme is covered by Iolo

Great piece MaxCastillo. Have you ever heard of Chick Corea? At 0:12 in your title piece (where you go C, A flat, G, A flat), I was reminded of Chick's El Bozo Part I (at 0:29). If you have a minute, check it out. I think you'll like it.

What a refreshing mixup of genre Haiduk. I can't see metal in SotA, but it would be AWESOME as boss fight music. Out of curiousity, do you play guitar, bass, vocals or anything else?

The piece which I have playing on the homepage of my website http://www.filmcomposerpd.com/ (After the Storm) was inspired by the fantasy genre, having played many fantasy mmorpgs and always enjoyed music which interacts directly with gameplay. This piece sets the mood of serenity after a storm, or the dawning of a new day. Enjoy!

Other pieces can be found by having a good look around the website :)

    All the best,
    Paul

    Wow!
When I realized someone is making my best and only MMORPG's remake I got all hot!

Here are my compositions. I literally loved the music in UO. Been inspired by Hans Zimmer, John Williams and Ennio Morricone throughout all my work. I'm ready to support you Lord British. Drop me a line when you have some time!

    Here is my entry:

Anyway I'm skilled in Unity and 2D/3D Graphics as well. So if you feel I could help you with the game, I'll be happy to talk to you!

Just caught up on this thread and I want to say how impressed I am with everyone's contributions here.

@Galfaroth "Go On With Loneliness" was awesome. The addition of the choir in your music is really neat. I like the sorta abstract choir - it reminds me of some of my favorite songs by Active Child, like "In Your Church at Night". It's like there are lyrics just out of the range of hearing, impressions not words.

This is a really great companion thread to the Scene Jam and Unity Art threads, and an example of what is working so well for SotA. The way the community has separated by skills base and interest and so many people are falling in to fulfill the role they envision for themselves, successfully, gives me a very positive outlook for our in-game society.

All of us have the opportunity to run a fan site, or build a town on the SotA minecraft server, create music for the game, build Unity assets, transcribe videos, or represent a perspective in the forum. Yet, we still specialize based on our skills, interests, perceptions of duty (principles). Everyone is so grateful and encouraging about others' contributions, this really feels like a grass-roots cooperative movement, and makes it a pleasure being here. So, um, thanks to everyone for that, and of course thanks to Portalarium for bringing us all together.

I think the time has come to call for final entries.
Do any of the participants still need more time for their submission?

Something a little different for you all. I took a few runs at this, and while my 'orchestral' mixes aren't up to snuff yet, (I come from an electronic music background), this tune should sufficiently stick inside your head.

If anyone would like to borrow themes/melodies from this for their own compositions, I'm quite fine with that.

    Enjoy!

What a fun thread this has been. Its a shame that its almost over, but I've heard a lot of great pieces, and my opinion on videogame music has been informed by the posts in this thread.

@Holt: I like your piece, and I can definitely hear your electronic background coming through in your floaty rhythms! I feel like I've been waiting forever to hear this piece.

@Ome: Your composing and editing skills are obvious, and I think its safe to say that you've been a big hitter in this thread since the start. I just downloaded your latest post, and I'm wondering if it was supposed to end abruptly, or if it isn't finished. Either way, great stuff.

Lastly, I have no music tech skills, so I can't offer anything for listening, but I do have sheet music. I know most people here can't read sheet music, and that those who can still won't get much out of it, but its all I've got, and with the deadline for the thread approaching, I figure its worth posting. The piece is titled Origin, in tribute to Origin Systems Inc.

Thanks again to everyone that's made this contest so enjoyable.
