I did find on thing out last night,if you do not exit Sotanavigator and enter other games, the program will hide the lower part of all games behind the Windows Task bar if you have the Task bar enabled to be shown all the time. Exiting Sotanavigator when you are not in SoTa fixes it. :) I thought it just sitting there wouldn't affect any other game, as usual I was wrong. :D

I'm trying to claim a lot in Brittany Fields so it's not a POT.

Thank you @Link_of_Hyrule. It is fixed now. Brittany Fields was incorrectly categorized in database.

BTW. That's why developers ask users to put a detailed data when they submit a bug (steps to reproduce i.e.). It was very important information (that you are trying to do it inside Brittany Fields). I'm receiving a lot of general bug reports like "Seems like Sotamap Editor it's not working correctly. [END OF MESSAGE]" Honestly, in such cases I do not know what I should looking for. :)

You're correct I will be better with my bug report next time :D I was able to claim my lot!

I can't wait for the next update I hope it is very soon! Guessing we'll need to manually update? It would be good to get an auto update feature added in.

    codecademy.com is your friend.

The red dot that tracks my location moves in the wrong direction since the most recent patches. If i move North, red dot moves west, move south and the dot goes east....like -90 degrees from my current direction

Is this only for Windows 10? Does not work for me on Windows 7. I have IE 11 installed.

Awesome! Can't wait to try it out later. Sadly my desktop is in Utah and my laptop gets 1 to 3 FPS for SotA. So have to wait until January to try it out.

Hacking faction of the Chaos school of magic. It's worst kind of black magic! Feel free to use it...
    ...if you dare. ;)

Just kidding. I'm using NBPS system to determine avatar position

The New Brittanian Positioning System (NBPS) is a network of about 60 moon towers located all over Novia and Hidden Vale. The system was originally developed by Kobolds for military navigation but now ( Thanks inventor called @BurningToad ) anyone with handheld NBPS unit, can receive the radio signals that the moon towers broadcast.

Wherever you are on the planet, at least four moon towers are ‘visible’ at any time. Each one transmits information about its position and the current time at regular intervals. These signals, travelling at the speed of light, are intercepted by your NBPS receiver, which calculates how far away each moon tower is based on how long it took for the messages to arrive.

Once it has information on how far away at least three satellites are, your NBPS receiver can pinpoint your location using a process called trilateration.

    Trilateration
    [IMG]
Imagine you are standing somewhere on Novia with three moon towers in line of sight. If you know how far away you are from moon tower A, then you know you must be located somewhere on the red circle. If you do the same for moon tower B and C, you can work out your location by seeing where the three circles intersect. This is just what your NBPS receiver does, although it uses overlapping spheres rather than circles.

The more moon towers are in line of sight the more accurately your NBPS unit can determine where you are.

you cant add labels WHILE it is tracking you, so....dont know where to add the label, lol. When I turn on editing, the red dot goes away, and will not appear again until i shut down navigator and log back in.

Using release 1.0.5 - Solace Forest map position is wrong. Also, moving west moves north on the map.

Update: Soltown & Novia also are positioned wrong.

Do you have Internet Explorer 11 installed? If not please install IE 11 and delete history (cache). Are you using Windows 7?

Due to my knowledge, if you have a brand new computer with Windows 10 there is possibility that you do not have Internet Explorer installed at all. Microsoft Edge is the default browser for Windows 10 (see: Browser: Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer 11).

It is IE 11 - I checked the about box. SotaNavigator 1.0 worked fine on this. Clearing the history seems to have worked, at least for Celestis, Novia, Soltown & Solace Forest.

    Thank you very much.
