For now you can use share button feature. Open popup window for certain POI and click on share button. Copy the link and add 'z' param. Like that:

    http://sotamap.com/?map_id=1&poi_id=610&openPopup=false&z=5

    Where:
openPopup = true/false (open popup window?)
    z = 1..6 (zoom level)

    Both added to "JIRA" ;)

Might need to do some updates. Some of the scenes have changed. Last list i printed out is showing some difficulty scenes wrong. Scary to run into a level 2 and its now 3 and so on. So yeah kinda rough but for newer players its a bit misleading. Other than that GREAT JOB

Jakub, thanks for getting Spite updated with the new layout. I'd like to be able to help update the lots in the city detail. I know for POT'S people can pay to have the ability to update the town information. What about for NPC towns? Any thoughts on how that might work? I'd like to be able to update that sort of information in Spite.

    Thanks!

@Jakub White, how shall we update Hometown in Novia, near Soltown? It is now an island again (walled island) and all new house placement.

    http://www.sotamap.com/?map_id=38

Do you want some community members to help update that? Or do you venture in and do it yourself?

Hometown is the Developer Showcase for houses and deco.

Hi @Jakub White, would it be possible to add the correct map for Xenos? I thought SotaMap had not been updated since March, but it looks like you are still posting in this thread. It doesn't look like any of the available base templates in the editor can be used even to approximate the current layout, yet somehow you were able to do unique maps for the main towns like Brittany and Owl's Head?

Yes, but please give me some more time. I'm currently converting all maps to sepia style (see sepia style: Overland Map or Brittany Alleys). I'm on finish, only couple maps left to convert. Afther that I will start to update maps such as Xenos, Spite, Estgard and others.

    As above.

In new release, every registered user of sotamap will be able to edit lot ownership and lot status in NPC Towns.

Yeah. I can update adventure scenes also, but it is more difficult to detect those changes made by devs (there is hundreds of them in game). Could you be more specific and give me a list of those scenes?

Is Sepia an option, or will all maps be in Sepia? I quite like the colour versions :)

Really? It seems that we will have to vote. I will upload rest of the sepia images on the dev server and then we will vote for color or sepia versions. :)

I'm open to any suggestions and criticism. So, please share your opinions about sepia style map examples: Overland Map | Brittany Alleys

It is your decision of course, and I won't complain if the maps are changed to the sepia version, but I much prefer the color versions.

I actually love the sepia overland map, but much prefer the color town maps... can we have both? :)

Haha. That third option is much difficult to maintanace (it takes over 1 milion PNG files per version). It's hard to manage such large data set and also causes some performance issues.

    ... but I never say never ;)

@Jakub White Is it possible to have a toggle, similar to how Google Maps has streets vs satellites?

P.S. I LOVE the extra scale level in the sepia map between the full-out view and the next one in. The current color version doesn't have this and it drives me nuts.

It's up to date now. Xenos is alos supported by SotA Navigator. If anyone have willingness and the strength to describe the statuses and ownership of the lots, it would be great.

Technically it's possible. But I already host above 1,5 million files. If I would decide to do that I had to double that number, and it's additional costs.

Glad I found this before making a new post. I did become a Patreon last month. I also been doing some editing in Harvest.

How has everyone else been doing the updates? I started to fill out Harvest, did the top and right side of the map. Obvious tax free ones I marked, otherwise just plain Occupied. Lot name I just put in the house type as displayed by the lot marker, the update date included. As well as the lot owner, also displayed by the lot marker.

There are also some layout differences, both before and especially now after the Harvest makeover. Unsure how to report those very nit-picky things, if I should.

Six new towns are updated and are supported by SotA Navigator
    1. Ardoris
    2. Elad's Lighthouse
    3. Port Graff
    4. Graff Island
    5. Harvest
    6. Estgard

Tomorrow I will work on last not supported NPC Town: Resolute.

    Thank you for your contribution.

Sometimes less is better. I advise to not put an update date and house name inside a lot name field. This field is designed for short functional names like: "Tavern", "Gladiator's Arena", "Auction House" etc. but mostly should be empty.

"Town lot Stone Four-Story (Row) (12/03/16) owned by Mykll Valiant" doesn't look very nice in tooltip.

Yeah that makes sense. Just poked around randomly and haven't noticed any other edits so far. I guess my mind was still stuck on that spreadsheet from months ago where we kept updating the modified date. :D Next time I'm in there I'll clean it up so hopefully it can be all standard.

    Edit:
I've doing the cleanup now, and realizing why maybe I added the updated date. As I cleanup my edits, people won't really know what has been checked and free, versus never updated and just status of free.
