The location for South Drachvald Spur on the SotaWiki very incorrect. It's across from Brittany on the clear other side of the map.

 

It looks like the data from /loc was input incorrectly. If you are nearby on the overland map, typing /loc will copy the location to the clipboard and you can paste it here. Otherwise, I'll get over there this weekend and find the correct location. I need to do a few others as well.

Hi there, I took the liberty to correct some (probably outdated) values of some of the Long and Short Bows. I intend to correct all of them, already edited 12 of the 72, but the thirteenth has no page as of yet. I tried to figure out how to add a page, but since I've never worked on a wiki I have no clue how to do so, so if someone of you could just add the following, that would be extra sweet.

Edit: It seems none of the Long Bows with Cotton Strings are added, so while you are at it anyways, maybe you could just quickly add those too . You can leave the values out. Just tell me when the pages are up and I will fill out the blanks.

 

Thanks for the updates, Shades! It looks like the Create function only appears if you are logged in, so please consider creating an account here. This also allows you to track your changes, and gives you your own User and Talk pages, to help with communication.

I went ahead and added these. Note that we may be changing how we store crafted items in the wiki, so if you see us moving these around don't feel bad. We'll try to keep it as seamless as possible.

 

We are going to add a separate namespace for crafted item variations, so they will not show in the default search or categories. This will clean up the wiki, as we can point all of the search terms to the base/generic recipes, and then only show the variations by query.

To do that, I've reverted the variant pages for now. Once the namespace has been added, I'll move them to their new location.

 

As part of the crafting overhaul, it'd be great to add the alternative recipe for wooden timber using scraps, which was missing last I looked.

Btw, does anyone of you know what "Item Damage Resistance" % does?

Northern Grunvald Barrens is a Tier 4 zone, not Tier 3. I found out the hard way.

 

There have been some changes in the last couple releases. I've updated this one; thanks for the information.

 

If someone could pls check some Bows ingame, see if they are different from the changes I made. I'm pretty confident that they are correct for now, since they are in line with the effects of the used materials now, but since I exclusively play offline, some values might differ, damage for example (all longbows had very low damage values compared to the values I noted), also damage values are the most likely to differ between offline and online. I hope there won't be many differences between offline and online, though I guess there have to be, if only to accommodate the fact that you can't build groups in offline mode.

 

I'll take a look at a few this weekend @Shades. I don't know that there has been any variation done between online and offline itemization yet. Thanks for your effort so far!

the -5 attunment for gems needs to be removed as it is no longer true

And possible links or descriptions of possible enchanted effects they can add. but that might be a rather large task as i think there are soem different stats they provide depoendign ont he equipment they are socketed into

 

I'm still investigating the new enchantment effects; there is a thread discussing them since R33, but its still incomplete. I'll overhaul the Enchanting topic, and add this to the individual gems once we have a good idea of how they are split.

Recipe "Cotton Cloth Boots with Leather" has an error somewhere, doesnt work. Ill keep trying to figure out the proper recipe.

 

It looks like the Cloth Boots recipe no longer accepts leather, so this is a broken recipe. I'll mark it as removed. Thanks!
