SotAwiki Update Thread

First, thank you community for your precious time spent on Wiki.

As the Wiki Daily Quest page helped me a lot to get back on my foot and directions as a returning player, wanted to suggest a few changes:

1. Add the Courage Club quest in Resolute (just did it a few hours ago, but without rewards didn't get enough coins -> bare minimum seems to be 10 Bronze Coins for the 1st ones)
2. And maybe put a link in description to Repeatable tasks on this page? (for example, Storehouse Containers seems a worthy quest to do quite often)

 

On second thought, there is a Template:Infobox Item New. I'm guessing that this is meant to replace the (uneditable) Template:Infobox Item. So, I added the % sign after davoidance there. I hope some founder or staff will replace Template:Infobox Item with Template:Infobox Item New one of these days.

Re: #1 above: There are some "club" daily things such as courage club and sneak scene that do need to be added. Gotta run thru those again to familiarize myself with them again, then I'll add them to the daily quests.

Re: #2 above: I added the daily tasks link at the top of the daily quests page to make the "daily" things easier to find all in one place.

by POT Pet Merchants (both male and female).

I checked at the Pet Merchant in ATOS and some other POT's and this seems no longer to be true.
Error of Sota that this is gone or intentional and the WIKI should be changed?

Crafting, Decoration, Gear, & Inventory Item Changes:

The recipes for trophy mounts have been removed from the POT Pet Merchants. They remain on Arakius Endiki, the Etceter Housing Decoration Merchant, who now also has a dozen more recipes he’d been missing.

Thanks for the kind words. I ain't legendary tho, just common (perhaps a Belt of the Dedicated, Common?).
My work on the wiki is a drop in the bucket compared to what other people have done.
Hopefully, the updates I made will be useful to somebody.

Lots of great people in SOTA, and lots of people have contributed to the game or its community in their own way.
I am just happy to be a part of all that, and glad to have made lots of wonderful friends.

okay, back on topic!
In the past few months I also updated: Rend, Thrust, Blade Speed, Cuthbert Undead Bane, Commands (added details on /loctrack), and some of the virtue armor pieces & quests.

 

I set the Green Wrasse to saltwater tank fish.
I caught it many times in saltwater and can't remember that I have caught in any other type of water.

 

I added many more wiki updates.

I am having trouble uploading jpg and png files to the wiki, gives me an error I cannot over ride.
The upload error is "Could not store file "/tmp/phpuuqf5F" at "mwstore://local-backend/local-public/1/16/Ancient_Sextant.jpg""
Anyone else having this issue?
I don't have admin privileges, and I don't know why this error would happen, but curious to know if it is something with my account, or if its a system wide issue.
