Just an idea I've had floating around for awhile now, but since @Chris mentioned in a previous livestream that summons would be affected by their specializations in some way, I really wanted to put this forward to see what everyone thinks.

What if, as well as their appropriate specializations, the Focus tree specialization granted a smaller but universal boost to your summons as well? That way, if you really want to get the most out of your favorite summon then you would have to sacrifice two of your specialization slots for it.

That, or if you want to be a more generalist summoner, you could give up on specialization slot for the focus tree and still have more powerful than average summons.

Would really like to know what you guys think of these ideas.

Here's another idea on how each summon could be a little more "unique" with specializations buffing them.

Fire Elemental: Fire Specialization gives your fire elemental an increasing chance to ignite all nearby friendly weapons (as ignite weapon). The Fire Elemental also increases your Fire Attunement by ( x ) while the Fire Specialization is maintaing or training (above 1). Additionally, every level of the specialization increases the attack rate of your fire elemental by ( x )%.

Air Elemental: Air Specialization causes your air elemental to have an increasing chance to have its attacks arc between targets for increased damage. Additionally, whilst your Air Specialization is maintaining or training (above 1) your summoned Air Elemental grants you a ( x ) bonus to your air attunement. Finally, for each level of the specialization, your Air Elemental has a chance of temporarily increasing the damage avoid of all nearby allies by ( x ) for ( x ) seconds.

Earth Elemental: Earth Specialization grants your earth elemental an increasing chance of casting the skill Earthquake. Additionally, when summoned, your Earth Elemental gives you a bonus of ( x ) to your earth attunement if your Earth Specialization is maintaining or training (above 1). Finally, every level in the Earth Specialization increases the aggro your Earth Elemental draws per attack.

Water Elemental: Water specialization causes your water elemental to have an increasing chance of bestowing a small regeneration effect on nearby allies for ( x ) seconds. While your Water Specialization is maintaining or training (above 1), your active Water Elemental grants you a ( x ) bonus to your Water Attunement. Finally, every level in the Water Specialization slightly increases the healing your Water Elemental does.

    Ice Elemental:
Water Specializaiton grants your ice elemental an increasing chance of casting Ice Field centered upon itself. While the specialization is maintaining or training (above 1), your active Ice Elemental increases your Water Attunement by ( x ). Finally, every level in the specialization slightly increases the effectiveness of slows inflicted by you and your Ice Elemental by ( x )%.

    Will o Wisp:
Moon Specialization grants your wisp an increasing chance to cast Fireflies on its current target. While your Moon Specialization is maintaining or training (above 1), your active wisp increases your Moon attunement by ( x ). Finally, every level in the specialization further increases the duration of Moon skills at night for both yourself and your active wisp.

    Phoenix:
Sun Specailization grants you phoenix an increasing chance to inflict a Sun DoT on its current target. While your Sun Specialization is maintaining or training (above 1), your active phoenix increases your Sun attunement by ( x ). Finally, every level in the specialization slightly increases the chance that your phoenix may revive itself after death.

    Skeletal Footman:
Death Specialization grants your skeletal footman an increasing chance to Rend its current target. While the Death Specialization is maintaining or training (above 1), your active skeletal footman increases your Death Attunement by ( x ). Finally, every level in the specialization increases the likelihood that your active skeletal footman will drain health on its next attack and restore itself.

    Skeletal Mage:
Death Specialization grants your skeletal mage an increasing chance for its projectile to explode, applying fire damage and the Fire DoT to all enemies in its radius. While the specialization is maintaining or training (above 1), the skeletal mage increases your drain effectiveness by ( x )%. Finally, the specailization gives your skeletal mage an increasing chance to cast Ring of Fire at its target's current location.

    Lich Fighter:
Death Specialization grants your Lich fighter an increasing chance for it to perform a whirlwind slash attack, striking all enemies near it. Additionally, while the specailization is maintaining or training ( above 1), your active Lich fighter increases your Death Attunement by ( x ). Finally, every level in the specialization increases the slight chance your Lich Fighter may perform a stun attack on its current target.

    Chaos Daemon:
Chaos Specialization grants your daemon an increasing chance to perform its Daemonic Leap ability, with a chance to knockdown, damaging all in its area. Addtionally, while your Chaos Specialization is active, your active daemon may randomly grant a ( x ) bonus to you Chaos Attunement at the cost of a penalty to a random non Chaos attunement for the same amount. Finally, every level in the specialization further increases the effectiveness of your Chaos Bolt skill, and your active daemon's Daemon Chaos ability.

I'd also think the Focus Tree Specialization would give maybe a 1-2% increase in the summon's overall effectiveness (health, damage, resist) per level of it.

Like I said, 1-2% effectiveness. Meaning that it could also be +100% effectiveness instead.

But right now, my daemon is at level 113 with only 168.1% effectiveness, and has 510 health, and only deals 4-16 damage.

My Lich on the otherhand, which is at level 100 with 100 in Undead Mastery, has 308% effectiveness and only has 716 health and deals about 19-27 damage.....

    Makes you think, doesn't it.....
