Hi everyone, this is the second part of my ideas for Specialization skills. This time for part 2, I will focus entirely on the summons from the Magic trees. Also, these will be entirely based off of the current specialization system in that the specialization will effect each pet in a slight way (on top of a stats boost and new attacks), so this will be much shorter.

    Fire Elemental:

Increased damage, health, and resistances based on Specialization level. Fire Elemental attacks gain a damage over time effect. The Fire Elemental has a chance of casting Ring of Fire.

    Phoenix:

Increased damage, health, and resistances based on Specialization level. The Phoenix has a chance of reviving itself (cooldown if successful) if slain and deals increased damage against Undead. The Phoenix has a chance of Blinding its target.

    Water Elemental:

Increased damage, health, healing effect, and resistances based on Specialization level. The Water Elemental will automatically remove DoT effects from its summoner or anyone in the summoner's party. The Water Elemental has a chance of casting Soothing Rain on an injured party member or itself.

    Ice Elemental:

Increased damage, health, armor, and resistances based on Specialization level. The Ice Elemental will slow and taunt its target. The Ice Elemental has a chance of casting Shield of Ice on itself.

    Earth Elemental:

Increased damage, health, armor, and resistances based on Specialization level. The Earth Elemental will taunt enemies around it and give itself a defensive buff. The Earth Elemental has a chance of casting Earthquake.

    Will o Wisp:

Increased effect duration, effect intensity, health, and resistances based on Specialization level. The Wisp will cast Mesmerizing Rays and remove aggro from the summoner. The Wisp has a chance of casting Fireflies on its target.

    Air Elemental:

Increased damage, health, and resistances based on Specialization level. The Air Elemental's attacks will arc from target to target based on proximity. The Air Elemental has a chance of casting a longer range version of Gust on an attacker.

    Skeletal Footman:

Increased damage, health, and armor as well as reduced health decay based on Specialization level. The Skeletal Footman will taunt and bleed its target. The Skeletal Footman has a chance of stunning its target.

    Skeletal Mage:

Increased damage, health, and resistances as well as reduced health decay based on Specialization level. The Skeletal Mage will gain the following skills for it to use: Blink, Death Ray, Fire Arrow, Chain Lightning, and Enlightenment. The Skeletal Mage has a chance at casting a targeted Death Field.

    Lich:

Increased damage, health, resistance, and armor as well as reduced health decay based on Specialization level. The Lich's standard attacks will siphon health from its targets to restore itself and its summoner. The Lich has a chance to perform an attack that strikes all targets near it for increased damage.

    Chaos Daemon:

Increased damage, effect duration, effect intensity, armor, health, and resistance based on Specialization level. The Chaos Daemon will no longer attack you or nearby friendly players. The Chaos Daemon has a chance to perform a special leap attack. Additionally if targeting an enemy player, the Daemon may cast Confusion.

What does everyone think of these ideas? Would love to get some feedback as well as other ideas from other people!

I personally think that the summon specialization skill should be a separate skill in the focus tree.

If it is just incorporated into existing specialization they can't make them powerful enough to build around, since almost every spell school has pets.

Every tom, **** and harry would be running around with pets.

Plus it would make summon builds more unique.

If the Earth elemental can cast earthquake then the Ice elemental should be able to cast ice field.
