Spider boss

    Where is the spider boss in Deep Ravenswood?
    Dont tell me "oh i dont want to spoil or you need to search it" i just want to know if its implemented or not because i killed tons of spiders and looked in all areas of DR and no boss ...

    You should find the Ferocious Red Spider in the northeast corner of the scene.

    ah, that's what you mean by boss. that may be confusing people, as there were multiple ferocious reds there to begin with.

    Ah ..... I fought like 5 ferocious red there at the same time previous release .... Mkay ... but just dont say its a boss. Bosses have names and special abilities... If its considered as a mini boss, i would like that the loot was accordingly upgraded....because right now, its just the standard spider loot when you skin it ... But thank you for responding to this post ;)

    Maybe the bosses need something a little more unique in their loot with a 100% drop rate. Not a magic item, just something that can indicate to the player that "this thing was a little different to the regular bad guys".

    Ahh... I had spent a few hours in there as well looking for the boss spider. The one Red was a downgrade so I thought maybe you had to spawn it by killing all the spiders.. then I tried popping all the eggs hahaha.

    Oh well, glad I know now. Mr @Sannio - We need a bigger spider please!!

    I usually tame 4-5 of those things an hour..
    Should probably go ahead and make the Phoenix and Dragon tame able now so i have a challenge heh.

    omg.. from 5 ferocius to 1 ??? i lost 1 hour to search this POOR BOSS.... :( very disappointed.

    please.. place a very huge spider on the cavern at top of deep hill.... (location where there is a spider egg)

    Control Points: Mages in control points now have spells that manipulate player position (much like the Daemon). Additionally, during the final wave there is a small chance a boss-level NPC will show up, of a type appropriate for the NPCs of that control point. Those bosses are:
    • Arachnairn Deathbringer: A massive spider whose poisonous bite is almost guaranteed to kill you.
    • LuRK: A Kobold scout from K’rul who is a master of magic.
    • Skelrin Nayer: An ancient lich lord who is kin to the lich in The Rise.
    • Namron Hathcock: An elite member of the Ebon Dawn archers who is VERY deadly with a bow.

    Deep Ravenswood: We added some Points of Interest to this scene, moved around some creature spawns to better match these new points of interest and randomized some of the spawns to introduce more variability in the scene (while maintaining the overall challenge). We also added a boss level spider so watch out!

    Perhaps if you kill enough spiders in that area, the "boss" spider will appear?

    Has anyone spent some time grinding there to find out?

    sounds to me like there might be a bug with Arachnairn Deathbringer's spawn rate.

    I spent some time, but the spawn rate was decreased significantly. Also OP says "i killed tons of spiders"

    Ferocious Red Spiders are no bosses, they are just wimps :p
