Spirit talkers - once you get one you cant get ther other... why did you make this change?

In the instructions linked from the email sent a few minutes ago, it says

• Spirit Talkers: Once you get a Spirit Talker from one of the courts in Ardoris the other will no longer remain available.
  

but it is my understanding that one spirit talker will allow you to complete the quest line, the other one will not. This new restriction that once you have employed one of the spirit talkers you cant employ the other spirit talker will block 50% of the players from completing the love quest line.

Perhaps your wording was just bad. Can I assume that there is some way, some how to finish the love quest even if you get the wrong spirit talker on the first try?

And, if it is still possible to finish the love quest line even after hiring the wrong spirit talker, what did you really mean when you said that the other spirit talker will not be available? Did you mean to say that he would not be available until you unhire the first one or kill the first one or what?
