Spoon's FAQ - How do I get my daily 500g from the Oracle?


So you have probably heard the rumors, and for once it is true - you can get 500 gold daily from the Oracle.
She will give you this daily allowance if you correctly answer the "test" on whether or not you follow one out of the three virtues she tracks - Love, Truth, Courage.

However please note here that she is an advanced automaton and she hasn't been maintained properly for some decades so she might be slightly cranky if you know what I mean.

So when she "tests" your virtues, it doesn't really matter whether or not YOU think you follow them. The only thing that matters is whether or not SHE thinks you follow them.

Which means that to secure that daily 500g you first ask her what she thinks and then when she "tests" you then you simply just agree with her no matter what.

(Any similarities with actual relationship(s) you have are entirely unintentional).

So here are the details:

She resides in red-eyed and glowing octagon buildings called "Oracle Confirmatories".

Never mind the similarities to other forms of benevolent rulers you might have encountered in other realms.

Which cities/towns have such buildings?

• Aerie
• Ardoris
• Central Brittany
• Etceter
• Kingsport
• Port Graff
• Resolute
• +most Player Owned Towns

Directions from you local "outskirts"


"Solace Bridge Outskirts" >> Ardoris
From the Outskirts go west till you find the Solace Bridge.
From there head south along the road passing Soltown.
From there continue south and then southwest along the road till you see Ardoris.

"Blood River Outskirts" >> Aerie
From the Outskirts go south and then southwest along the road until you reach the coast.

"Highvale Outskirts" >> Resolute
From the Outskirts follow the road North to the mountain peaks.


How do I know if a Player Owned Town has one?

Before entering on the overland map, walk until your avatar is on top of the town.
Then hover your pointer above the [?] a list of buildings and services will pop up.

Spoiler: How do I ace the test every time?

• Go into the Oracle Confirmatory.
• Doubletap the mechanical face to get her attention.
• Then in order ask her about:
  -Path of courage
  -Path of love
  -Path of truth
• For each note that if she mentions Disdain=no while if she mentions Important=yes.
• Now ask her about:
  -test
• And depending on how she thought about your path, give back the answer.

Spoiler: But why does she think I hold x virtue in disdain?

Well, since your arrival she has had her network of "watchers" that have been keeping track of you.

Truth in disdain = usually you forgot that Private property doesn't mean "steal anything not bolted down".

Love in disdain = usually you forgot that beggars also need beer and you might have accidentally killed a faun, or a dozen, or maybe hundreds.

Courage in disdain = usually you forgot that Satyrs loves to fight so you need to oblige them at every opportunity, oh and the same with other outlanders, go get them!
