Apologies for yet another deck building question.

I have read everything I can find in these forums and Player Instructions about deck building and watched all the YouTube videos on the subject.

Yet, I still don't get how people put glyphs stacked, one behind the other.
    • I get charged glyphs on locked glyphs, where you hold down the corresponding number and it charges up
    • I get "stacked" glyphs in the sense of you drag a dealt glyph on top of another identical dealt glyph and they "stack", in that a little number appears in the lower right corner
What I still can't figure out how to do is edit the deck and make the cascade of glyphs, one behind the other, several levels deep. Every time I try to do this, the glyph I put down replaces the glyph already in that hotbar spot. How do you do this exactly? What is the benefit? What advantage does this give you?

The first glyph you drop on a slot will have a small lock in the lower corner, click that to unlock the slot and then any further glyph you drag on top will stack and be dealt to that slot.

Wow, thanks Lained, finally (at AL 70!) I got it to work with your help!

So, is the point that only that stack of glyphs get dealt to that spot? So in melee you can count on just that selection of glyphs appearing in that slot?

Thanks @Coswald_Dirthmire! I had seen a couple videos in this series, but not the entire thing. Definitely must watching for everyone! Someone should create a Pluralsight training class for SoTA deck building. It's that complicated!
