Stars in the night sky are still blurry - why not use particles instead?

    This is something that has bugged me for a very long time. The current skybox texture results in blurry stars, which looks terrible. Why not set the night skybox black and use stationary particles for the stars? As an experiment, I have tried that in Unity and it looks much better.
