STEAM only grants VISITOR access to this game ?

Bought this game today with STEAM, and I am not sure if i correctly linked STEAM with this account ...

I have the following problems:

1.) I cant play OFFLINE !

2.) STEAM only grants VISITOR access to the ONLINE game ?

 

If you bought it then you aren't a visitor, we just need to figure out how to get you correctly set up.

OK, hopefully someone else can come along and give you more info, but what I can tell you is that you should register with the website, then go to Account and look on the far right tab, game access and such. There is a way to link your account there. Maybe that will help.

If you are in the Resolute area, the S Mart Factorium will be firing up its crafting engines on the first of the new year. Come by if you would like to be paid for doing some low level crafting.

 

It does grant access. Try the different logins (name and pass, connect via steam) from inside the game. Make sure you did not need to reply to an email when setting up Shroud account. (It has been awhile since I did this).
It works, might just need a small missing step.

WHENEVER I try to log in with STEAM i get an ERROR :-(

Of course I have made THIS account and tried to link it with STEAM, but there is no LINK for doing that !

PS: Found a EMAIL from this game in my SPAM foulder ... after some more problems, I was able to link my STEAM account with this game with the link from the email

 

Good news. Hope it was not too frustrating.

 

Is there a benefit to buying the game through Steam or Directly? I know if you get it directly you get a few reward things like additional bank slots, but from Steam it doesn't list what rewards you get.

 

I think on Steam it's $5 less. The problem with buying it that way is that if you ever decide to upgrade, it doesn't count, you still need to buy the first $45 bundle. If you do it through Shroud then the $45 counts toward your upgrade.

I bought it through STEAM this Xmas at a discount and didnt get ANYTHING extra, except the game at a discount.

 

Right. Buying through Steam gets you nothing extra.

 

It does count to towards the upgrade actually. I saved around 25 usd when upgrading to a row bundle.

 

Ok and welcome Brother MEX to the game. If you click on the home key and go to the home page then click on account and the tab that says Game Client/Steam which looks like this

and you are not a visitor if you have purchased the game. I don't play through steam myself but I downloaded the client which put an icon down to click on to open the game. Also I do play multi player and so if you are interested in coming in multi-player and if I can help anytime please add me to your friends list I am Majoria in game. Holy cow, you're right! @StDrahcir @Brother MEX it looks like Steam purchases are upgradable, in case you ever decide you want to.

I use a steam account and also a normal account one and it looks like you have got your account linked then you run the game through the steam program you can in steam create a desktop link if you wish, as for a steam account to a normal account there is only one restriction you cannot resell a steam account, you can still sell the add-ons brought through the account but not the account. and from thereon it is like a normal account you can upgrade your bundle buy from the add-on store and partake in the telethons. happy gaming

If you purchase direct, you can also play without going directly thru Steam, which I do a LOT. In linking my account, I can play thru Steam and get the Steam achievements and also not let folks see how many hours I actually play. I'm weird that way! <g>
