Stuck at Battle of Solace Bridge

Entry point into game. Escorted bard across the bridge. Left him to explore then came back. He then says we should try crossing the bridge again, but he just stands there.

If I leave the game and enter from the map, he'll still be on the other side of the bridge. At this point though, he'll again suggest going back across the bridge and in this case he'll cross back to the other side with the gate. He'll then turn around and cross back to the other side and stop in the same place. Speaking to him again and he says we should cross the bridge and he just stands there.

 

There is a boat by the bridge near the river. Take that out of the scene.

 

Thanks. I've tried that. When I click the boat, it says I should talk to Edvard before leaving. But of course, he just says, "Let us try crossing the bridge then, again."

 

Delete your character and try again. Welcome to early access! (they literally just put this new area in prior to the weekend) I had a lot of trouble getting through it myself yesterday.

Hopefully you get through the opening scene. Once you do you should be good to go (minus the random crashes we're having).

 

I got through the scene and when I go to the boat and click on it, it shows map of Soul town loading but it never gets beyond 0% loaded and after about a minute it crashes. I have tried it may times, rebooted Etc and still the same result.

 

Constant crashing to Soltown? Are any crash dump files generated from the crashes? They would be visible within your game's directory. The Output Log file is most of what we're looking for from when a crash occurs.

 

Has creating a new character resolved this for you?

 

I sent the dump file.
Creating a new character did not help, however with todays patch I was able to refight the bridge battles and then use the boat to get into town.
