[Fixed 67875] Return to Valhold Palace: NPCs are unresponsive

    The quest is bugged upon returning to the palace. After speaking to all NPCs, Ferig, Mara, and Essen just stand there. Ferig does not kill Mara and the quest stops.

    @JHarper I was just about to log into your account to check your quest data, but then realize you were actually online. Sorry if I accidentally kicked you out of the game. I'll try again at a later time. :)

    @JHarper , I looked into your situation a bit today. That scene is a complicated web of logic, but I think your quest data is good, but that you haven't completed the scene and the NPCs give you no clue how to continue when you leave mid-situation and return later on. I'll have to sort through the confusion and try to give the NPCs reasonable conversational hints.

    In the meantime, if you return to Valhold Palace and say "stand back" to Ferig, does the situation advance to the point where it seems you've completed the scene?

    That worked! All I had to say was "stand back" but there was no prompt for it. I recorded the interaction if you want to watch it. But this worked for now!

    Great! Thanks for the update.

    I'll still work on improving the conversation so that the NPCs give good prompts for players who lose track of where they left off.
