[Fixed 68153] Player Guide needs to be updated regarding mounts

    I checked my Player Guide book in my inventory and it now refers me to www.shroudoftheavatar.com/playerguide.

    I went to that doc and it is a googledoc. I looked for "mount" and found
    1 Mountain
    23 amount
    1 mount

    I went to the word mount and it is under
    Summons, Tamed Creatures, and Companions
    and it tells us that we can't make a tamed creature into a mount. Here is the relevant paragraph.

    Most natural beasts are tameable, even some exotic ones like the giant “corpions” of New Britannia. Many domesticated and “barnyard” animals can be tamed, although some creatures may not make effective combatants or have any fighting abilities at all. Horses can be tamed, but not used as mounts at this point in development. Skills that aid in the taming process and make tamed beasts stronger and more reliable can be found in the Taming tree, under the Strategy skill menu.

    It is time to update this explaining the new mount system.
