    Hi folks,

    Before I consider a request in the ideas forum, any reason why we have to buy sugar from npc's and can't craft it like other intermediates?

    They probably eventually want to add sugarcane to the game, and even Atos mentioned this in the livestream for say making Rum.

    Pirates drink a version that's watered down, ie grog ;)

    Then put the grog recipe in the Pirate bundle. :D
