Suggestion - Crag's Mine in Crag's Foothills

Took a party in and when we defeated the Lich it was CRAZY disappointing to find a torch and 58 gold as loot.... How about changing the loot table for this guy?

 

He is a quest NPC.

 

you just have to kill him once and cant farm hin. Thats fine; so he dont need much loot

once you enter CM, kill him and then you can mine hours and hours with a nice walk around and only have some ghosts to kill.

CM is still one of mine favourite mines, cause you get iron, copper gold and granite in a good bunch and have no stress with hard mobs

 

I'd like to do this quest. If you don't mind, could you please give a hint about where to pick this hint up?

That shouldn't diminish his loot

 

In theory it should matter, only because it would prevent people from farming him and making it hard for someone to see him up to complete the quest.

However, since the mine is a private instanced zone anyway, I would agree with you that the "quest" tag should not affect his loot table. You still need to kill him (and his mage buddy in that room) in order to just be able to mine that area... and for most average players that's a pretty tough thing to do solo. I agree there should be a slightly better loot table for him.

Probably just bad luck in your case but, usually when I kill him he at least has a weapon on him too (Montante or Ancient Montante) that is better than some gold and a torch. Just curious, but if you were in a party, was there a chance that he did drop a weapon too and that was just auto-rolled on? Someone in your party may have gotten the weapon and you didn't notice at the time.
