Details:

Swiftness granting attack speed feels like if you are in light armor, and attacking something, it should gain xp. Rapid Fire seems to sporadically give it a tick, Dodge/Flurry does just fine. This might be by design that auto-attacking with Ranged weapons doesn't, but only Rapid Fire from that tree seems to give the xp tick.

Steps to Reproduce:

Set Swiftness to gain xp, test skills to see what gives xp ticks

armor innates gain when you cast a skill from that tree (like dodge) or when you TAKE a hit, not when you strike one. rapid fire should not be training it.

 

Still a bug worth looking at then : P

Seem to recall leveling up Heavy Armor's Deflection with blade autoattack/blade skills - so not sure that holds true.
