Tamed Patriarch Bear shrunk

Title: Tamed Patriarch Bear shrunk from when I tamed it to when I took it out to fight with me. I have included pictures to show the size of the bear that I am fighting compared to the one after I had tamed it. It looks looked like a baby bear in comparison. Black Silk died in this fight and so did I.

Details: Are they supposed to get so small after taming? Seems like a bug.

not a bug they have always done that :-(

 

Yes, @CatherineRose, this is to be expected. They used to be much larger, but as I understand it, the huge pets had lots of issues navigating through tight spaces like mining tunnels and had to be shrunk so they could keep up with their masters.
