Targeting with Archery in PvP

Every time I am fighting in a group vs group situation against other players, archery causes me to switch targets to whoever is doing damage to me. As you can imagine, this is awful in a PvP situation. It doesn't allow me to focus on one person, and instead has me constantly switching targets, leaving me unable to focus on one thing. This is a new issue caused by one of the recent updates? I never had problems with it before last month. Please fix this, its ruining archery in PvP. Thank you.

 

Same thing happens in PvE, it is driving me nuts, cannot focus targets what so ever. I think it just auto targets the closest enemy.

Can we get a confirmation that this ranged targetting issue is isolated to this release (27)? I have heard a few things, including the involuntary proximity targetting with ranged, have been recent incarnations this latest release.
