Testing Directive Feedback: Placing Items in Basements and Player Dungeon Foyers

I can place wine casks in both my basement and dungeon on QA now.

 

Confirmed I am able to place items of all varieties into my dungeon foyer:

Confirmed that casks (beer, wine and spirits) able to be placed in City Stone and Timber 2-Story basement, Town Stone and Timber 2-Story Basement, Town Stone 1-Story Basement, Village Wood and Plaster Inn 2-Story Basement, and Row Stone and Timber 5-Story Basement. They can also be placed in Single Connection Stone Dungeon Foyer (I don't remember if that one was bugged before or not).

 

I have just now tested placing fountains, planters, pavers, and casks in both my dungeon and (brand new, just for you) basement. QA.Win.64.1109.Date.12.09.20

Well, the banner placement issue is still there for the Ornate Triple Connection Stone Dungeon Foyer. Not certain if you were just looking for things that you place on the floor or not.

 

I am able to place Large or Medium planting beds on the Ornate Triple Connection Stone Dungeon Foyer on QA. Thank you!

Able to place all of the above in the Keep Stone Arena Basement, also Viking planters worked fine

 

while i have no dungeon, i discovered that my brand new Village Arena Basement as of a few minutes ago still doesn't allow placing planting beds anywhere. other objects like stone blocks, planting pots, you name it, place just fine. i even made another player kindred, and he experienced the same issue despite testing in QA showing no problems.

so now that it appears fixed in QA, does that mean it should be resolved next update? while i can spend the time to raise each bed up on a block, i'd just assume wait for the fix if it's on its way. anyhow, here's a link to 3 screenshots:

I would expect yes; typically whatever is on QA is then pushed to Live during the next release. Keep an eye on patch notes and Elgarion's Release Notes postings to be sure. (Occasionally something in QA doesn't make it to Live because it needs a little more time, ex: mounts)

 

I like the feedback message when trying to place an item inside the moving mine cart - perhaps this can be added to when placing an item on other surfaces fails, to give the player more info to include in potential bug reports? (the font size could be a little larger, tho)

 

I logged in earlier and tested some
All testing is done on village lots so basements are village only. I was able to place casks..even stacked up to 3. Planting beds..large, medium, small and pots, Statues ..i used the Noble set. This was done in 5 story Inn, 5 story mine, arena , 5 story stone/timber and regular 5 story. Of course when placing them its a matter of knowing what will fit in each room and such but they all we placeable

As for the dungeon I used the Ornate triple connection marble foyer. I was able to place casks/stacked, all sizes of planting bed/pots and Noble set of statues. No issues there. All went in smoothly. Of xcourse each foyer will probably be different. Gonna test some other foyers

 

Just tested the Ornate triple connection stone foyer. Only one wall will not allow the castle banner. All other walls where Raven placed them work...just that one wall on the left connection wont allow a banner to go there

The rise Dungeon deco room does not allow placement and has missing textures.
