    Hi,

Just grabbed my first home :) and am really enjoying playing around with this so far. I now realise that ownership is only the start of the fun, not the end, which is great.

I am interested in some feedback on whether it is currently possible, or is planned to be possible in future, to 'weather' ones house into the scenery a bit. Currently my house looks a bit shiny and new and a bit 'flat' and model like. It would be great if I could buy or acquire textures to weather it or vines and creepers to creep up the exterior walls, or trellis or some such to personalise it a bit more.

If you look at my plaster & wood frame abode i'ts very clean -

Whereas if you look at my neighbouring NPC Fisherman's building, of a similar plaster & wood construction, its nicely weathered and dirty and looks more 'in place' and natural:

    Interesting idea.

I like it but makes for more special graphics design.

    Great idea though.

Most of the crafted homes have that shiny new look (except for the wood parts like the shutters, which have a yellowish, dry-rot look to them). The ones you buy at housing merchants have a more weathered look.

to Devs: please do not extrapolate this request as permission to implement actual growing of grass and weeds. I'd hate to have to also maintain and mow my virtual lawn! lol
