The cloth sim crashes

    not a bug, but a question about working around it:

    the linux client, from what i can tell, is immune to this particular crash (although we have plenty of our own). are the windows peeps only crashing themselves when they wear flowy things, or are they affected by anyone in the scene? in other words, will my wearing a cloak crash everyone around me?

    As we understand it, anyone in the scene would cause a crash, which is why we also have the option to "disable cloth' in the game option.
