    @Chaox I was curious if you have been digging in to any of these ideas with the team or if there are some hints/hopes/dreams you might want to accidentally mention for those of us that are really interested in this. Doubly so as we have some more instrument love going on and can almost get a proper band to play for our dancers.

    I would like to see Minuets , A Few Waltz, and a few Baroque styles for Hopefully Grand Ballroom Dances , in the near future. I would love to have the Uhura Dance Also. Of course any Bordello Can't be without The Can Can :)

    ok I have to bump this again. I'm listening to an Avatars Radio dance set with a fantastic new DJ Apollox Evanheart. The thing is our dance emote has no variety. We need more expression in our dancing than just jigging which you will rarely see Majoria do. Fine to dance and chat but to show self expression would be so fantastic, not sure how that could work, but it is a big 'wish list' for me to make our characters come alive more.;) so @Devs for this request.

    With the upcoming New Years day party I am so wishing we had some more dances like songs we could sway to with this song. *sighs* so @Devs again. Is this something we will see in the future? the jig won't work for this type of song and I know it's not a Shrouds song but we will have parties with the radio playing with all types of music playing so it does make sense. *hint* *hint* ;)

    Ok it is time for us to fight the good fight. SOTA is a new game and it should have some new character improvements and animations and yes DANCES, yeah you heard me.;)

    Majoria wants to dance and PLEASE PLEASE not the jig. So this is a big bump for this thread

    and @Chaox CAN YOU HEAR THE PLEA?

    The first video is Aion and it is years old and I know bigger budget of course

    The second video is also Aion and wow. I am so jealous.





    The most terrific thing about the second video is it is not so repetitious. The dancing girl changes up as the dance goes on. It is a long animation to last through a song. Well from what I can tell, but I'm no programmer. I am not remembering this from when I played Aion so it is probably a newer emote to the game.;)

    The animations are amazing in those videos. This would really benefit our game to see these awesome and expressive dances! I don't like the statue-like dances we have now haha...

    I was curious if you had any more love to toss our way or tempt us with regarding dances? I've noticed a few MMOs (like ArchAge) use the follow command and their dance moves to get massive conga line and dance circles going. It would be very neat to see what thoughts you guy have had. I know it's been a busy holiday season with short release turn arounds... but hoping you've had a bit of breathing room to consider this some more.

    Wouldn't that be copyrighted material and possibly cost Portalarium a fortune to license? Does anybody know if dances/moves/what-have-you can be/are copyrighted?
