Hop into spring with us! Chako's River Tavern and General Store is thrilled to host The Easter Angler Classic—a thrilling, one-time-only, 2-hour fishing competition on the beautiful Cassiopeia River. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or casting your very first line, this is your chance to test your skills, compete for egg-cellent prizes, and enjoy a memorable afternoon of fun and good company by the water. We are excited to host this event in Cassiopeia on April 4th from 12:00 pm (PST) to 2:00 pm (PST) to catch the largest fish and smallest fish! The official fishing event hub is at Chako's River Tavern and General Store, located at the Town Sign marked Chako's Rose Garden. Rules: The contest lasts exactly 2 hours. Fishers must turn in Saltwater Fish caught in Cassiopeia. All fish submissions must show the event date and game date. Participants must submit their smallest and largest fish. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by the greatest combined length of those two fish. Participants are permitted to fish in any public saltwater location within the town limits. Fish submissions must be placed into the dedicated Ornate Wooden Cask, known as the 'Drop Box' at Chako's River Tavern and General Store village lot in Cassiopeia. Please place your fish submissions in the Alter Lockbox inside a bag labeled with your avatar’s name. If you need a bag, please whisper Chakotay on the day of the event. Smallest and Largest fish submissions per real-world participant will qualify for prizes—no double-dipping in any way, including but not limited to submissions by avatar alts. Prizes: All prize information is current as of March 1, 2026. Cassiopeia is next to Haven Ridge, located at the base of the mountain just outside Castle Atos!
