The evolution of death mechanics

    When you respawn at an ankh, I think you have half health, not full health.

    I think there should be multiple ankh's in all scenes and you should randomly be transported to another ankh, not of your choosing.

    I think once you die in the same scene more than 3 times, you should be transported to the overland map.

    I think you should be lootable on death, every time - either by a player (in pvp) or by a monster (in pve).

    If there are going to be such limitations about using ankhs, they should also be set up so that mobs will not camp them or even go near them. I have had more than a few times where a mob will even follow you right out an exit arch into the iris effect, and they will certainly hang around the ankh if they kill you next to it. (And if THAT is done, entry/exit areas for a scene in general should also be safe areas, none of that zone into Owl's Nest and immediately get attacked by a bear, two wolves, and three spiders nonsense.)

    But hey, at least I can jump into the lake in North Brightbone for instant de-aggro from those stupid elder wolves.
