Wow. Those aren't even rent free lots. The next step up to town lot is big at $450. Any word yet on approximately how much the rent will be?

 

Nope. But I'm guessing it would be something significant so people that leave the game for long periods of time will loose their lots. I would think that rent might be as high as 10% the in-game cost of the home per month? So that might be 8500 for a row lot every month?

Totally a guess on my part.

 

Grrr argh, this is totally making me want to buy another row lot.

 

Village lots are the lost numerous right now. Maybe people are thinking they will get a couple extra lot deeds and get prime locations on release to sell later. Or put several village lots together for a megalot.

 

I'm sure there's some of that. But honestly I think people just weighed all their options and said $165 is the most I want to spend. I'll pay taxes in-game, but this ensures that I get a lot.

I'm sure Town and City will sell out next, but I don't think Row Lots will be far behind once that happens. Then once they're all sold I believe Portalarium will put a new batch out with the new prices. But this time they'll probably put lower quantities out, allowing them to raise the prices again when they run out prior to launch.

And good to know that some resources are finite. For me its not so much about retaining some personal value, I just think it creates a really interesting dynamic that adds to the life of the game world.

 

It didn't take long for two city lots to get sold. I wonder if the remaining 26 will make it through the weekend?

I actually look forward to buying a city lot somehow in game with the guild. It will be a great project for the collective town center.

 

I dont think so. My understanding is, that they are sold out in general.
But a clarification from a Dev would be nice.
