I like this scene the best of all the ones in Britanny so far. Really a great use of tree assets to compliment the streets and houses without making it seem manufactured.

I hope we get an opportunity to use some of these assets in POTs (like the mercahnt over hangs).

    @SorcerousSteve

    Looks well laid out man!

Feel free to steal some of those vine assests from Valhold to add a little touch of overgrowth here and there for some scenes :)
I feel a little "clutter" variance could do well in some of the more slumish areas.

And really a few "trash" assests would be great to toss dowen in some cities.
worn out old flyers / paper
    lil dirt piles
    small old roots
    half eaten carrots/corn/melons
    broken pieces of wood

Fantastic! I am really loving how these story-town scenes are rolling out. Really beautiful, I cant wait to run through this zone.

    UPDATE ON BRITTANY WHARFS

Hey Folks, here is an update on this week's progress on the Brittany Wharfs.

Located just North of Brittany, the Brittany Wharfs is a coastal neighborhood rampant with merchants and trade. Town Lots will predominate in this neighborhood. Below we catch a glimpse of the Harbor at dawn. Big and small boats fill the harbor, industry and shipbuilding are present, and a fort overlooks the harbor providing defensive support to the heart of Brittany located just down the coast.

A water community with plenty of water lots is located on the north side of the Wharfs. For all you water lot lovers, there will be village, town, city and even a keep island lot, but you gotta catch them while they're hot!

I've started the process of detailing areas of the map, below is a cluster of shops focusing on armor, combat, and weapons all conveniently located a short walk away from player housing.

Stay tuned for the next update on the Brittany Wharfs!

Really nice! I see many town water lots but, unfortunately, there's only one type of town water house.

It looks cool, but I feel like the houseboats should look like they have room to manouever, since they are "docked" there, not simply a water-structure :)

    (back to back seems crowded)

That's a good point Andernut, I'll see what I can do to give these HouseBoats more room.

If each can have some hypothetical extra space to "sail out to the sea", that should be good.

Is it still sailing when there's no sail? ;)

I'm not sure how they propel, I've seen the rudder but not a propeller or anything :p

Either secret kobold power or they're just barges.

Maybe we could add some dragon wing sails.. or some long oars at the back?

@Sorcerous Steve: They look far enough apart to me. Go to any harbor in the world, and you'll see boats lined up closer than that.. I think it's fine, and quite realistic for a big city harbor.

yea as a guy whose used to work as a dock hand on a cruise boat, they look ok.

In alot of boat communities the boats never leave the docks ever. In some situations the people own the boat and rent the space at the habor/dock, but have no boating license so can never take it out, just another form of apt. really. Specialy down in like FL.
