The Making of Celestis

Looks friggin awesome @Sea-Wolf ! Scene unclonings are my favorite part of the SotA dev process. You guys get better and better with each new one.

 

I like the changes. Looks very nice.
I have a Wood & Plaster Row Home in Celestis.
Now I have to search for a Shogun Row Home.

 

Any chance the overworld map building representation will change away from windmill/etc, to something more thematic to the region? Just curious.

 

Happened with Adoris, so my best guess is: yes ^^

 

I like that the overland map gets the shape of the island pretty much right though with the highlands at the western end and the harbor at the south. Celestis is in such a cool spot on the Novia continent as an island on a lake at the foothills of mighty mountain range. Would it be possible to add a backdrop of mountains on the northern and western periphery to give the illusion of the far away peaks? It would also be cool to add those craggy moss covered formations to the little islets off shore. There a few already but I'm thinking of those like off the coast of Thailand or Viet Nam. Very mysterious and menacing looking like the description of Celestis hints at. Also second the celestial connection mentioned above. Hoping for cool plot-lines is this neck of the woods. Gonna watch me some Kurosawa now...

I have to say, the work done on this town is amazing - great job! I have enjoyed all of the city makeovers but this one really stands out. Truly a pleasure to explore the entire town map and just a beautiful space for Celestis residents.

 

By far the most beautiful town we have in SotA at the moment.

Spent a couple of hours here looking at all the new stuff and it is all very pretty, I especially enjoyed finding the Seven Katanas, and I was hoping the skeleton on the beach was maybe pointing towards some hidden treasure, but I had no luck finding it, if it was indeed there. Caught a few fish. Watched the sun go down from the top of that mountain. Spent a bit of coin and had a good time role playing. 9.5/10 would of been 10/10 but I found no treasure.

I think the world builders are the ones who are amazing.
The new zones are beautiful & creative, often with hidden surprises.
It makes exploring the new zones a lot of fun.

 

Thanks for moving the crafting pavilion and bank back to their original locations but the crafting vendor and trainer are still down by the harbor

There is a boat from the Solania docks to Celestis. Can we get one in Celestis back to Solania pretty please? Celestis harbor looks kind of empty with just the one boat to Novia.

 

@Sea-Wolf any chance we can get those paper laterns for deco??? bc you love us long time??? <3

 

We have it on the backlog. just haven't gotten to it yet.
