    Hey folks, I have a few screenshots of our update to South Longfall Wetland! The new areas includes a maze of poison gas, an abandoned village, a raft flotilla inhabited by pirates, and a secluded witch's hut. This is still a work in progress, but feel free to leave feedback.

    The pontoon bridge might make for an interesting item for POTs.

    This is turning into an unique scene. There's numerous things I would NOT like to step into out there.

    I, too, like the witch's hut - an alchemist stranded while gathering materials? or one who preferred the hermit's life? or is it somebody else planning world domination?

    This is a big improvement over the marsh land clone scenes. The witches hut is a nice touch and seems worthy of exploration.

    Just wondering @Sea-Wolf are there any cool puzzles or anything in this one like the other new scenes coming in?

    @Sea-Wolf

    Btw worth mentioning it would be cool to see something like swamp gas which bursts into flame when ignited, like in Witcher 3. The poison fields are cool -- I'm guessing you actually get a poison effect by going into them -- but any way in which we can use our environment more tactically (other suggestions in this thread) would also be great.

    the witch home looks great (interior seems bigger than exterior BUT MAGIC ;) )

    the Pirates' hide out well done

    abondanded village looks like small venice gone under; hehe :p

    Cool zone, @Sea-Wolf ! I like the salt deposits and "swamp coconuts"! Also the low-level silver nodes are nice.

    Wondering how unfinished the zone might still be though... I found a key that opens the cages but nothing in them. Also found a little tomb below the abandoned village (Is this the "Ranger's Repose" they talk about in Aerie?), but cannot figure out how to open the door. The witches place is cool too, but couldn't find any quests or other activities there.

    EDIT': OK I found the elf.. who wasn't technically "imprisoned" . After talking to him a second time, got the cage quest, but they were all already open. Gonna come back after talking to his cousin.

    EDIT2: Guildie found out how to open the door in the tomb. Would not have thought to start turning statues myself... maybe put in a little clue on that one?

    You mean the plaque on the door?

    or is there something else I'm missing here?

    they have to ward against something coming from the ocean

    so where do they have to look for that?

    ummmm... it's on a peninsula? lol ok I do get it now.. sort of. It's the channel they need to face.


    OK... moving on from this zone. Though I was able to open all 4 cages, there were only 3 elves in them. Also.. the witch won't even talk about the amulet.. literally has no response to the keyword. Upon asking about "elves" she will admit that she trades with them sometimes. Is the avatar supposed to come back with an elf mask on.. or?

    TL;DR Cool zone, but it is not clear to the player when exactly they are done with it.

    Oh, and the map shows a west exit, but there is only a wall of trees there.

    the "church" is directly on the coast and ther is only one direction to face it, if you look out of the windows
