The Passage of Time is in steps it appears....

Ok, so as I stood and watched the day/night cycle I noticed something. While the sun and shattered moon travel through the sky relatively smoothly, their passage on the landscape isn't. If you watch the movement of shadows caused by the sun on the landscape you'll notice that the shadows move like the stepping of a clock... tick, tick tick... rather than smoothly passing over from east to west.
Just something that should probably get looked at.....
