The Perfect PvP Deck

With this release and death decay, i guess im realizing that there is really no cap other then grind time for skills. Got me curious.

Lets assume 6 months from now everyones running each skill at at least 100 ( even the useless ones )

What do you think would be the PvP deck norm? Would there be a wide variety? Or a pretty set pvp deck most players would run.
Or just what you think would be your dream deck.
Extra points if you include gear!
( and lets go off with whats in play today, not speculation of wha might be added )

Death Ray
Fire Arrow
Ice fist.

I would think that the Chaos teleport would be useful because it's fast (or used to be) and random. But that's just a theory of mine , would like to know if it really works for the veterans here.

 

id be willing to bet on it, though ive never had pleasure yet

 

Encouraging. Since I'm going to try PvP anyway I'm R36 I think I'll pickup the Chaos tree and see.

 

Hopefully the Chaos tree spells will work on others while pvping (hence the spell that takes mana down when a caster casts) that would be a great spell to be working whn fighting a mage type that depends on mana to win.

i think i worded this wrong as soon as the (white screen)clears and lets me in the game (another downfall of this game) ill reiterate what i was trying to say

 

@Numa ..ok what meant was the spell torpid torment that i would cast, that when a caster casts spells it does damage to him/her everytime they cast spells whil Torpid torment is in effect on them (not take away mana) but damages him/her when i cast that on them Sorry, its cleared up now what i was trying to say

 

ImO is being nerfed as we speak and will be further nerfed going forward.

Then you have the 'wards' which means one can create counter gear towards the most popular schools.

Don't see chaos teleport in use much. So it doesn't seem to be that popular.
I see a lot of death and fire mostly.

 

And don't forget to eat your food. I've found it helped some and also resistance armor will be great. I do like some of the strategies needed that are coming in. We totally need them.

 

I think you are missing some defense (shield of air, something from either armour tree) and some handy buffs.

Death touch might still be prety useful.

Corpse explosion could be pretty awesome, if you stumble on someone who just killed bunch of enemies with discharge and is looting/skinning them

 

Heheh i found death touch is too close needed. i love the spell but couldnt see a use for it with the rest being ranged focused... hummmmmm

Need some actual full build ideas to tweak.. maybe when i wakeup ill post 5 solid ones to be disected

Was going with a more ranged caster deck since resistances wernt in.. still think thats a must in a pvp deck..c

 

Ice Field is a good one to have apparently. Someone used it on me yesterday and I couldn't move at all for what felt like 10 seconds. The guy popped ice field, then walked backwards to a safe distance for him and hit me with fireball until I died.

 

No Such thing as the perfect pvp deck sadly, Its all about designing a deck around the person/ Type of person you are fighting

 

Now with resistances in maybe.. tho before the latest balances there was deeeffinitly some obviously dominent builds heheh

Ill agree to that.
Even now, i notice fights taking an extra skill or 2 longer compared to last month. Another month or 2 and yea the average player will be 750-1k easily, and your right. Those kinda removers will be a factor.
Im excited.

 

Is there any more information on builds? I like to study cookie-cutter builds before experimenting or designing my own.
