How come the pledge reward servants and pets just stand still like dolls when the land owner is not around?
Are they taking a standing nap?

Are they only moving about for the land owners "computer-experience" and no one else even when he/she is around?
    I haven't tested this.

The reason might be performance based I understand that, but I don't like it if that is why.

Has there been any word on this?
I think they should move around permanently after they have been placed.

    ~Complex Quality NPCs Servants~
I'm not in the know... But I hope that our companions within the offline game are complex in their natures. This being said, I believe that our current servants are waiting for those more complex NPCs to be built and then modeled after their behaviors and amounts of things that they can perform.

~NPC Have Come a Long Way in Gaming Tech~
I'm thinking that we're waiting on quality here and not just some run of the mill common NPCs that we currently have. Our SOTA developers have always been after to put out products of quality and thus I expect that's what we're waiting for, which would be well worth the wait.
Just one look at our skies tells me this will be true... ;)!

Not sure what he did while I wasn't around, but my automaton servant would run around at random and through my stone walls. I was originally thinking of naming him Kryten, but since he ran around so much and ran through walls/you name it, I settled on Robo Qwop.

Put him away for a rainy day to cut down on the chaos.
