Everyone, I hope you have had a blast with the first round of bounties. I learned a lot and the second round is ready and you helped me choose our targets! There are three prizes for each bounty this round! 1000 COTOs for 1st place, 500 COTOs for second and 200 COTOs for third place in each bounty for 33 total guaranteed prizes! The bounties run from January 10th, 2026 @ 12:00am CST until February 1st, 2026 @ 11:59pm. The bounties are: Any Obsidian Cabalist - Dolus, Temna, Nefario, Negas, Avara, Indigno, Corpus, and Fastus Any Destroyer - any mob with destroyer in its name - a nice bonus for those farming taming gear Noble Stag - noble, schmoble - these bad boys have nice taming loot Any Satyrs in Tartarus - we need to clean up down there in the depths! The Phoenix Riei Firefeather - dumb chicken... nice talons though. Offered by Janzik, Governor of New Crafters Town! Envy Wisp - chosen so you have a little incentive to farm up the Ring of the Deep Woods! Troll not in dungeon - their stomping around without care in the world... time to drop some caltrops under those big feet! Offered by Janzik, Governor of New Crafters Town! Any Spiders - the first spider bounty and you can farm them in your player dungeon! Any Daemon - Greater Daemon's and the named bosses! Tridents and hearts will drop! Kobolds not in Player Dungeons - head underground and to the battle fronts and claim these bounties! Xen Trohop, Spider Queen - we know her. She's not the worst, but she's a hell of a challenge, and I have a challenge for all avatars on top of the normal 1st, 2nd and 3rd place bounties. I'm offering a raffle, if we collectively kill her 5,000 times in 3 weeks. I see we have 15,130 spider queen kills in our database, if we get her over 20,000 kills, I will raffle off 10,000 COTOs. Each kill you make of the spider queen counts as a raffle ticket! Even 1 kill will enter you to win, if we reach the goal, so party up and go after her. You don't have to be the best just get that last hit in on her and you have an entry! There's a lot of bounties to pursue. Remember that it is a marathon not a race. Slow and steady wins the race. The last set of bounties had a lot of bounties with hardly any kills because people just gave up in the first few days and the leaders left the door wide open for anyone to challenge them. Hopefully with the additional prizes and the gauntlet being thrown down on the Xen Trohop, Spider Queen, we will have an even steeper challenge and a lot more fun!
The Phoenix spawns in two different zones. Do both count? The "Troll not in Dungeon" - does that mean not in PLAYER dungeon like the "Kobolds not in Player Dungeons" or are Trolls in all dungeons barred from entry? (e.g. the Troll in the Epitaph) How is it counted if a party kills something? Does every member of the party has a point for each killed creature (as they all share XP) or only the onoe player that did the final damage?
I just can't get my head around the text of those bounties... e.g. Noble Stags: https://shroudoftheavatar.net/sota-bounty/20 The very same zones are listed as INCLUDED *and* as EXCLUDED...?
