The UI needs a new design before launch

    I think also there should be default margins added to the sides and top and bottom of the screen, so the windows aren't just stuck there by default. +10% to +15% margin would probably be good.

    Lots of UI's these days have a forced border around elements because its good design and a universally understood best practice for UI elements that don't need to function in real time with one another, dependently. It's usually expressed in a flat pixel count and is a part of most snap to grid, or snap to alignment UI's these days.

    Sadly, none of this applies here.

    This isn't the first time the community has requested a better, prettier, more polished User Interface. Or the first time we've offered our help. Ages ago, I personally offered to help design the UI to RG in chat based off of the sota community app gfx I created, and was essentially brushed off (thanks for the offer! We will let you know!).

    I don't think they have the desire or bandwidth to utilize community-created art at this point.
