There should be more cooldowns in this game. : )

    The cooldown for Ankh usage is probably my favorite, that makes me especially happy in the most happiest of ways, seriously, you get killed via pvp and have to get rezed, you find an ankh, woot!! Rezy rez time..and the progress bar..is even slower then it was the 1st time you just died..you wait..your party gets killed, you eventually rez sometime after 3 days have passed and then your enemies are gone because who wants to w ait 3 days for someone to become undead? maybe cult-like people but whatevs..terrible terrible mechanic..lets punish you for getting killed! Fan-frigin-caca-tastic!

    My other very favorite cooldown is "oops I've interrupted myself recalling and now I have to wait 30 seconds to do it again!" WEEE! such much waiting! I got an idea! I do..it's a great idea..so check this out..it will help with revenue I'm sure..lets make a pay option to wait less! Lets put cooldowns on logging in and out, cooldowns for opening doors, cooldowns for turning the camera, cooldowns for chatting, cooldowns to look at the game and cooldowns for cooldowns!!!!!!

    PS: Sorry..this is what it looks like when you've been dealing with reticle mode being broke for a week, random crashing, and some weird rash on my elbow.

    I would replace the long ankh resurrection delay with an injury mechanic. You die, and you lose a little maximum health. You die some more, you lose more maximum health. If you apply bandages or use some other healing method, this would regenerate your maximum health over time.

    If you wanted to get back to your full maximum health before going back into combat, you'd have to wait just the same as an ankh resurrection delay. But you'd have a choice not to. So you could resurrect almost immediately, put on a bandage to regenerate, and then leave the scene. Or put on a bandage to regenerate and get right back into combat. Possibly, there could be more expensive methods to regenerate even quicker.

    There are other games around that work like this, and I think its a relatively good death mechanic. They could apply it to pets as well.

    Btw I believe its also functionally similar to another death mechanic we have in game right now. Sometimes you lose Int, Str, and Dex -- which if I'm not mistaken cuts your health because of the loss of Strength. Except it would be more accrued over the number of deaths, and you'd have an option to regenerate.

    Get the final 20% done. That includes an Ankh timer pass, I agree.

    The resurrection timer doesn't bother me that much. There does need to be consequences for kicking the bucket.

    A cool down that irks me, though, is interrupted consumables. I understand and appreciate the timer to prevent people from chugging pots like a frat boy - but if I didn't drink the pot, there shouldn't be a cool down.

    If the purpose of the cool down is to prevent chaining benefits, but there is no benefit (interrupted), then there shouldn't be a cool down.

    Please remove the long cool down after interrupted consumables. :oops:



    Or at least a much shorter one....

    Like the 3 clicks required to loot someone's ransom. You kill somebody, double click on corpse.
    2 Windows pop up preventing you to move your character/cast or interact.
    You loot the enemy and you get killed for that

    AUTOLOOT RANSOM or A simple doubleclick

    If we ever get castle sieges or the like. Rez timers is the cost of not holding the battlefield to Rez your companions. Giving the other side a chance to achieve objectives before the next wave of battle. I think it is required in these types of scenarios.

    Could be something they only apply in competitive PvP scenes though.
